What the chat is for
Use chat when a question benefits from a short exchange: a CLI command, an unfamiliar runtime error, or a quick design check. Longer investigations belong in the forum so the solution remains searchable.
Ask a useful question
- Include the Apex command or API call you ran.
- Share the relevant error message and deployment ID.
- Remove secrets, tokens, personal data, and customer records before posting logs.
- Describe the expected behavior as well as the observed behavior.
Keep production incidents controlled
Community chat is not a replacement for the incident channel or support process. Do not paste customer credentials or sensitive production data into a public conversation.
Need a durable answer?
Move architectural questions and solved incidents into the forum so future teams can find them.
